The collection consists of an index to obituaries in local newspapers created by the Gail Borden Public Library for years 1922-2017. This index will be updated periodically as more records become available.
What Can These Records Tell Me?[edit | edit source]
- Name of deceased
- Date of death
- Birth date
- Place of death
- Name of spouse
- Name of parents
How Do I Search This Collection?[edit | edit source]
Before searching this collection, it is helpful to know:
- The name of your ancestor
- The approximate date of death
- The last known residence of your ancestor
Search the Index[edit | edit source]
Search by name on the Collection Details Page.- Enter the information in the fields in the Search Collection section or click More Options to see additional fields
- Click Search to show possible matches
