It is a collection of genealogies of persons and families of Central Europe, mostly German. In 1991-1992 the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City, microfilmed the whole collection. This filming contains approximately 2,700,000 personal names on 1219 microfilm rolls.
The handwritten, phonetic index on 2.4 million cards is arranged by the wife's married name. For a detailed introduction in German see FHL film 1,799,712 item 3. A film register in English is on FHL fiche 6,001,616. The following book can help you use this collection.
