Most archives, historical societies, and genealogical societies have special collections and indexes of genealogical value. These must usually be searched in person. The Family History Library has very few such collections for Wyoming. For Latter-day Saint families see the LDS Research Outline published by the Family History Library. Some family histories of Wyoming families are listed in the surname section of the Family History Library Catalog.
