The National Genealogical Society Book Loan Collection is housed in the St. Louis County Library in St. Louis, Missouri. The books, with a few exceptions, are available to members of the NGS and non-members through interlibrary loan. Previously this loan privilege was restricted to NGS members only.

“Procedures for Inter-library Loan” gives more detailed direction to both the patron and to the librarian in your home town who will make the request for you.

An alternative to requesting a book for inter-library loan may be a photocopy request for up to 30 pages.
