3rd Class:  Tips & Tricks for finding historical records

“The New Ordinances Ready” feature in FamilySearch.


Time: 7:00PM.
This class will show a new way to research ancestors and escort them to the temple.  It will be taught by Harold Davis from the BYU Family History Library.  He has taught there and made training videos showing how to use FamilySearch and more.


4th Class: Using the Consultant Planner (New features) This class will be especially helpful for Ward Temple and Family History Consultants.

Databases and Software[edit | edit source]

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
  • Hardware and Equipment
    • Computers (12) Scanners (1), Printers (1).
    • Two classrooms that will accomodate 70 and 20 comfortably, with computer and projector.
    • Wired and wireless internet throughout the building.
    • Personal laptops are welcome.

Our volunteers can help with questions about Family Search.org, New Family Search, Ancestry.com, the Family Search Research Wiki and other online resources. We can help you get started with Family Search indexing.

On Tuesday afternoon we have research specialists who can help you with your research in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
