Panaca was southern Nevada's first permament settlement, founded as a Latter-day colony in 1864. Was originally part of Washington County, Utah, but the Congressional redrawing of the boundaries in 1866 put Panaca in Nevada.

History and Tidbits[edit | edit source]

Panaca was southern Nevada's first permament settlement, founded as a Latter-day colony in 1864. Was originally part of Washington County, Utah, but the Congressional redrawing of the boundaries in 1866 put Panaca in Nevada.
