Spelling and reforms[edit | edit source]

Because the majority of available genealogical records for Armenia were created before the mid-1920s, most of them will be written using Classical Armenian orthography.

Ex: գիւղ See Armenian Orthography reform [1] and Classical Armenian orthography[2] for additional details about the changes.
