Jefferies	Facebook: Jefferies Family Genealogy, a Group for those with Jefferies ancestors. The Group description says in part, "On June 27th 1875, concerned with the poor prospects of trying to earn a living from the land and provide for their family in England, John Jefferies, his wife Eliza set sail from Plymouth in England for New Zealand shores with their four surviving children on the "Helen Denny" under the command of Captain Ruth along with 229 other emigrants on board."
