Research use: Linkage of families and ages at death, mention of those who died "away from Home" or whose death is recorded in another place.

Record type: Gravestone inscriptions, registers of burials.

Time period: 17th century to present.

Contents: Varies; name of deceased; death date and age; sometimes birth place or a relationship.

Location: Local town, city or parish cemeteries, and Channel Island Family History Society.

Reliability: Accurate, but they are subject to "clerical" errors.[1]
