Brief History

This Unit was organized at Goshen, Indiana, December 5, 1861, to January 28, 1862.  It was ordered to march to Washington, D. C., via Richmond, Virginia, April 29-May 19 and Grand Review May 24.  They moved to Louisville, Kentucky, June, and there mustered out July 15, 1865.
