Instructions[edit | edit source]

1. Go to the Task List and sign out a section of counties to do.

2. Go to the first county page and insert the correct compliance statement in each table. The table code will already be on the page, you will just insert the compliance statement and reference in between the <center> and </center>.

Example of wikitext in table:

| colspan="7"| <center>*State Dept. of Vital Records started births and deaths in 1923. <br> Full compliance by 1924.<ref>Alice Eichholz, ed. Ancestry’s Red Book: American State, County, and Town Sources, Rev. ed. (Provo, Utah: Ancestry, 1992), 562; Alice M. Hetzel, U.S. Vital Statistics System: Major Activities and Developments, 1950-95 (Hyattsville, Md.: U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics, [1997]), 58.</ref></center> |}

Example of Completed County:

Stutsman County, North Dakota

3. Once you have inserted the compliance statement into the code, put added compliance dates in the edit summary box and save your work.

4. After you have saved your work, go to the page and make sure the statement appears on the table correctly.
