Conference Introduction[edit | edit source]
This year's conference is again made possible by WSU College of Social & Behavioral Sciences Department of History and the Ogden FamilySearch Library donating the use of the Shepherd Union Building.
We will be offering about 65 classes, which will be taught to over 1,000 participants. Because WSU offers their facilities at no charge, and our volunteers and presenters are donating their own talents to this Conference, there will be NO charge for the classes or for parking on campus.
Information Packets available at 7:45 AM[edit | edit source]
We will have the computer lab available for classes again this year. Space is limited to 30 participants so get there on time to find a computer station.
Keynote Speaker at 8:30 AM[edit | edit source]
Gene and Shantal Sessions will be our keynote Speakers. Dr. Sessions was born in Ogden, Utah and received his Ph.D degree from Florida State University in 1974. He is the author and editor of numerous works and is Presidential Distinguished Professor of History at Weber State University. Gene and Shantal are the parents of four children.
