This collection of links to the websites, Facebook pages, and if needed a mailing address, will help you find the organizations that can be helpful in your family history research. Guild of One-Name Studies	Currently 8,754 surnames are part of the Guild which is based in London, England and with members around the world.
Irish Surname Registry	A central location to look for others doing research on the same Irish surname.
United Kingdom Surname Groups on Facebook	This group maintains a directory of family surname groups on Facebook that originate from the United Kingdom.
Directory of Family Associations	Bentley, Elizabeth Petty, and Deborah Ann Carl. 4d ed. Baltimore, MD: Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., 2001. This publication includes all known “U.S. associations, reunions, surname exchanges, significant databases on single surnames, or related groups, independent periodicals, and some publishers of family histories, including some groups that, while foreign-based, deal with U.S. families.”
Genealogy Sites on Facebook	The Social Media Genealogy list by Katherine R. Willson is currently a 267 page PDF file that contains over 9,000 links to Facebook groups and pages related to genealogy. Visit Katherine's website or her Facebook page for more details and to view or download the list.
