When doing genealogy research, descendency research is the process of finding all of the descendants (children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc.) of one of your ancestors. Descendency research is a great way of connecting with living relatives and gives you the opportunity to continue learning about your family even if research on your ancestral lines has stalled.
