Frogtown Utah was the nickname of Fairfield Utah during the years of Camp Floyd (1859 - 1861). It would be the "boom town" area near the gates of Camp Floyd where the saloons, merchants and camp followers dwelled.

Frogtown Utah was the nickname of Fairfield Utah during the years of Camp Floyd (1859 - 1861). It would be the "boom town" area near the gates of Camp Floyd where the saloons, merchants and camp followers dwelled.

The Friends of Camp Floyd acting as the Fairfield Utah Historical Society (FUHS) pronounced "Fuss" has collected the stories of Frogtown. This site will provide this information under the research category "Directories".
