FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a FamilySearch Center, a branch facility of the FamilySearch Library.

Marin Family History Center

The Marin Family History Center is located in San Rafael, one-half mile past the Civic Center, on the southeast corner of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are full-service library, staffed 20 hours a week by a range of volunteers with varied backgrounds, many of whom are professional genealogists on loan from the Marin Genealogical Society. Please stop by anytime--it's a library, so you don't need an appointment, don't need to be a member of the genealogical society or the church. Over 90% of people who walk in off the street find their ancestors on the first day!
