FamilySearch Wiki:Image Approval for Non-English Wikis

First

After you get approval to add images and files to the international wikis then use the following steps.

Chinese Wiki

1. Go to Chinese Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on 特殊页面 (special pages).
3. Click 导入页面 (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Chinese Wiki.
7. If the request was in French, translate your approval message into Chinese with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Chinese Wiki.

French Wiki

1. Go to French Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Pages Speciales (special pages).
3. Click Importer un Fichier (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the French Wiki.
7. If the request was in French, translate your approval message into French with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the French Wiki.

German Wiki

1. Go to German Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Spezialseiten (special pages).
3. Click Datei hochladen (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the German Wiki.
7. If the request was in German, translate your approval message into German with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the German Wiki.

Italian Wiki

1. Go to Italian Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Pagine speciali (special pages).
3. Click Carica un file (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Italian Wiki.
7. If the request was in Italian, translate your approval message into Italian with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Italian Wiki.

Japanese Wiki

1. Go to Japanese Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on 特別ページ (special pages).
3. Click ページデータの取り込み (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Japanese Wiki.
7. If the request was in French, translate your approval message into Japanese with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Japanese Wiki.

Korean Wiki

1. Go to Korean Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on 특수 문서 목록 (special pages).
3. Click 문서 가져오기 (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Korean Wiki.
7. If the request was in French, translate your approval message into Korean with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Korean Wiki.

Portuguese Wiki

1. Go to Portuguese Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Páginas especiais (special pages).
3. Click Carregar ficheiro (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Portuguese Wiki.
7. If the request was in Portuguese, translate your approval message into Portuguese with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Portuguese Wiki.

Russian Wiki

1. Go to Russian Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Спецстраницы (special pages).
3. Click Загрузить файл (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Russian Wiki.
7. If the request was in Russian, translate your approval message into Russian with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Russian Wiki.

Spanish Wiki

1. Go to Spanish Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Páginas especiales (special pages).
3. Click Subir archivo (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Spanish Wiki.
7. If the request was in Spanish, translate your approval message into Spanish with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Spanish Wiki.

Swedish Wiki

1. Go to Swedish Wiki or go to step 3.
2. Click on Specialsidor (special pages).
3. Click Ladda upp fil (upload image).
4. Upload as usual.
5. There is no license to pick from yet.
6. Then let submitter know the image has been accepted and what the link is in the Swedish Wiki.
7. If the request was in French, translate your approval message into Swedish with Google translate and send it to the patron. The language might not be ideal but they will understand their image can now be used in the Swedish Wiki.
