Welcome to the England Probate Keys Migration barn raising page for March 2009!

Decades ago, the Family History Library published 'probate keys' for each English county. They included a colored-coded map showing the courts and a corresponding table legend. We need to decide what content is still valuable and should be moved to the Research Wiki, and what content needs to be updated. Then we need to move and update as appropriate. Some tasks may best be accomplished by those who have access to the old probate keys, either as a paper copy or at the Family History Library.

(Return to the main England Barn Raising Tasks page.)
