Finding Arizona Marriage Records[edit | edit source]

  • 1864 Arizona territorial law required county recorders to keep marriage records.
  • From 1891 to 1912 clerks of the probate court issued marriage licneses.
  • Marriage records are maintained by the Clerks of the Superior Court in the county where the event occurred. They are not available from the Office of Vital Records.
