Marton in Cleveland St Cuthbert is an Ancient Parish Other places in the parish include: Langlands, Tolesby, and Newham.

This parish should not be confused with Marton cum Grafton Marton cum Moxby, Yorkshire

MARTON (St. Cuthbert), a parish, in the union of Stokesley, W. division of the liberty of Langbaurgh, N. riding of York, 6 miles (E. S. E.) from Stockton-on-Tees; containing 410 inhabitants. The parish is in the district of Cleveland. There are places of worship for Wesleyans.^[1]

MARTON, a township, in the parish of Swine, union of Skirlaugh, Middle division of the wapentake of Holderness, E. riding of York, 9½ miles (N. E. byN.) from Hull; containing 119 inhabitants. There is a Roman Catholic chapel.^[2]
