DITTISHAM (St. George), a parish, in the union of Totnes, hundred of Coleridge, Stanborough and Coleridge, and S. divisions of Devon, 3 miles (N. by W.)from Dartmouth. The church is a neat edifice in the later English style, with a handsome porch; the pulpit is of stone elegantly sculptured, and the screen is in good preservation.
