Brief History[edit | edit source]

The 128th Regiment, Ohio Infantry was organized at Columbus and Johnson's Island, Ohio, December, 1863, to January, 1864.   Hoffman's Battalion Infantry was transferred to the 128th Regiment on January 5, 1864. The regiment was moved to Camp Chase, Ohio, July 10, 1865 and mustered out July 17, 1865. [1]
