Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question #1: When searching the records for Catania I cannot find records for Santa Maria della Mercedes or Biagio. Where can I find these records?
Answer #1: Records for Santa Maria della Mercedes and Biagio were mistakenly added to Italy, Catania, Diocesi di Acireale, Catholic Church Records, 1560-1941, and may be found there under the Nome del Comune o della Frazione of Catania.

Question #2: The images starting with 874 of 2657 in Catania > Colleggiata > Matrimoni 1589-1894 appear to be baptisms. Is this correct?
Answer #2: The images 874-2657 are Battesimi 1690-1712.
