Brief History[edit | edit source]

Also called 2nd Confederate Infantry Regiment.

This regiment was organized in May, 1861, at Nashville, Tennessee, and mustered into Confederate service at Lynchburg, Virginia. There were few surrendered on April 26, 1865.[1]
