This is a documentation subpage for Template:Protected (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This template is to be used by Moderators to identify pages that have been protected. The template should be placed at the top of the page using the code {{protected{{{2}}}{{{3}}}{{{4}}}{{{5}}}{{{6}}}{{{7}}}{{{8}}}{{{9}}}{{{10}}}{{{11}}}...}}.
Pages that include this template will be automatically included in the Category:Protected pages
Any contributor can request a page is protected by using the template {{protect}}
