The FamilySearch indexing team is pleased to announce the creation of a new New Zealand Passenger List indexing project. This project will be an easier experience for the indexers, with fewer fields to be keyed.
We will still capture the principal surname and given name, age, marital status, and occupation. This way users of the index in the future will be able to find any name which will point to the image, and then they can gather the rest of data from the image.
We encourage all to participate and help us index this project.
