Parish History[edit | edit source]

RAWMARSH (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Rotherham, N. division of the wapentake of Strafforth and Tickhill, W. riding of York, 2½ miles (N.by E.) from Rotherham; containing 2068 inhabitants. There are places of worship for Independents and Wesleyans.[1]
