Lutton and Washingley is an Ancient Parish partly in Huntingdonshire and partly in Northamptonshire with the greater portion being in Northamptonshire. This Ecclesiastical Parish was etablished in 1447.

Lutton and Washingley is also know as Lutton, or Luddington-in-the-Wold (St. Peter), it is a parish, in the union of Oundle, partly in the hundred of Norman-Cross, Huntingdonshire, and partly in Willybrook hundre,  Northamptonshire, it is 5½ miles E from Oundle. The living is a rectory which is united with Washingley.  There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.[1]
