It has a distinctive architectural style (Collegiate Gothic) and is named for Henry Suzzallo, a past president of the University. It houses over 1.6 million volumes including Children's Literature, Natural Sciences, Government Publications and a wide variety of periodicals. Additionally it has an extensive collection of rare books published prior to 1801. A portion of its volumes are about the American Indians, natives tribes from Alaska and the migratory routes of those First Nation people. |
