It’s a mini-form of teaching. Some of us may have the gift of spontaneous gab whereby we can launch confidently into a topic, keep it flowing in an organized and cohesive manner, and keep the audience mesmerized. However, not everyone feels immediately comfortable standing as the focus of attention in front of a seated audience. Most of us have the need to prepare, minimally, an outline of the topic with key points and notes. |
