The Pennington Research Association (PRA) and the National Genealogical Society (NGS) signed an agreement to support PRA as it ended its operations. NGS maintains the PRA's digital files. The Pennington Family Collection is available by contacting National Genealogical Society. Please include “Pennington Research” in the subject line of the email. History of the Pennington Research Association, Inc. (PRA) The Pennington Research Association (PRA) was founded for the sole purpose of the collection, preservation, maintenance, and dissemination of materials relating to the genealogical structure of the Pennington Family, with an intent to gather all Pennington cousins together, provide genealogical assistance and work together to further Pennington research. Pennington Pedigrees were published twice each year.
