Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Naturalization records have been filed in the county and district courts of the state. Two helpful online indexes may help you quickly locate naturalization records for your ancestors. The first, the National Archives naturalization index for North Dakota lists Federal naturalization records. The second, the North Dakota Naturalization Records Index, lists naturalizations recorded in the state courts. You can write to the clerk of the court and request a search of indexes to certificates of arrival, declarations, petitions, and final naturalization papers. Due to population changes, the jurisdictions of the courts have varied from time to time. |
