Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | 54th Infantry Regiment [also called 50th Regiment] was organized in October, 1862, by adding four Alabama companies of Walker's 5th Confederate Regiment to the 4th Confederate Regiment. Its members were from Coffee, Macon, Choctaw, Limestone, Blount, Morgan, and De Kalb counties. Few were included in the surrender on April 25, 1865.[1] |
