Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The 3rd Independent Battery, Connecticut Light Artillery was organized and mustered in October of 1864, at Conscript Camp, Fair Haven, Connecticut. The battery was mustered out the 23rd of June, 1865 (with the exception of twenty-seven men, who were transferred to the First Connecticut Artillery), and discharged on the July 3, 1865 in New Haven, Connecticut. This battery was composed of men from all parts of Connecticut.[1] |
