What's New
Nordic Family History Conference
The Family History Library and the Research Specialists of the Nordic Reference team invite you to a free, never before offered, week-long conference focused exclusively on Nordic research. The conference, which will be held October 17th - 21st, 2016, is perfect for beginning and intermediate genealogists interested in learning about records of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Family History Library collections.

When registering please check ALL of the boxes you wish to attend. We will use Eventbrite to process your registration. Your information will be processed in accordance with their privacy policy located at Eventbrite's Privacy Policy.
Main Floor Construction for New Discovery Center
Beginning on August 29, 2016 and ending January 2017, the main floor will be closing to begin construction on a Discovery Center. There will be no access to the main floor computer area, classrooms, restrooms, or the snack room during this time. All services provided on the main floor will be moved to the 3rd floor. Guests may use the lunchroom on the 3rd floor until the construction is completed. The Discovery Center will be open before the RootsTech Conference begins on February 8, 2017.
Computer Labs Added to the B1 and B2 Floors
The Family History Library has added computer labs to the classrooms on the B1 and B2 floors.
