Description

Of the languages of Tunisia, Arabic is the only official language according to the Tunisian Constitution which is taught at the primary and secondary education levels.
The most of the population today speaks Tunisian Arabic as their native language.
A large portion of the population can speak French to varying degrees.
Eastern Berber languages are still spoken by a few thousands Tunisian minority groups. [1]
