Tombigbee and Arkansas River Trail
Background
Trail follows the Tombigbee and Arkansas Rivers starting at Columbus, Mississippi on the Tombigbee and traveling along the river close to what is now Mississippi highway 82. Near what is now Greenville, Mississippi it continues on into Arkansas following the Arkansas River on to just above Little Rock, Arkansas. A small portion of the trail still exist near Maumelle, Arkansas [1]
