History[edit | edit source]
Templerobin Civil Parish comprises the eastern 2/3 of Great Island in County Cork. Directly to the west, occupying the western 1/3 of Great Island, is Clonmel Parish. There is no true population center in Templerobin Parish, and Cobh is the only moderate-sized population center in Clonmel Parish. Before 1922 the town of Cobh was known as Queenstown.
