Some records may be available to tribal members through the tribal headquarters.They were (and are) the local office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and were charged with maintaining records of the activities of those under their responsibility. Reservations
The Summit Lake Reservation was established 14 January 1913 by Executive Order #1681. Adjustments were made in 1928, 1949, 1950, and 1959[1].
The Summit Lake Reservation is located in Humboldt County in western Nevada, about 80 miles southwest of Denio.
