Stratton, Cornwall Poor Law Union

Stratton Poor Law Union was officially formed on 28th January 1837
A parliamentary report of 1777 recorded a parish workhouse in operation at Stratton for up to 20 inmates.
The union comprised the following parishes

- Kilkhampton, Cornwall
- Launcells, Cornwall
- Marhamchurch, Cornwall
- Morwentstow, Cornwall
- Poughill, Cornwall
- Poundstock, Cornwall
- St Gennys, Cornwall
- Stratton, Cornwall
- Week St Mary, Cornwall
- Whitstone, Cornwall
