8MM or Super 8 reel to reel Film digitizer (converts film to MP4 video format.)
VHS cassette digitizer (Converts VHS to MP4 video format. A VHS C adaptor is available)
Video 8mm Cassette, Mini 8 Cassette or Mini DVD digitizer. (Converts to MP4 video format.
The following equipment is available for use while at the Center. To reserve, call the receptionist at the FamilySearch Center (435) 673-4591. For after hours calls, leave a voicemail message with your contact information and you will be contacted at the beginning of the next shift:
- Audio cassette digitizer (Can convert audio cassette recordings to MP3 files.)
- Floppy Disc converter (Helps to transfer files from a 3 inch drive to USB drive)
- FlipPal scanner (Takes multiple partial images of larger documents that then can be stiched together into a full image of the document.
- Shot Box (Take photographs of objects in a bright white box which ensures even coverage for objects up to 12 inches across)
- DVD/CD digitizer (Can be used to transfer video and audio files to a USB drive.)
- Wolverine or Kodak Scanza digital converter (Smaller hand-fed devices for one-at-a-time conversions of 35mm, 110mm, 126mm slides, negatives and film strips into digital format)
