Digitizing, Scanning & Preserving
The Oakland California FamilySearch Center offers an array of scanning & digitizing equipment to help you preserve and digitize your family memories, documents and heirlooms, i.e. reel-to-reel movie film, slides, negatives, photographs, photo albums and over-sized documents, audio and video cassettes. Also, we have equipment to digitize microfilm & microfiche records, and a shadowless environment to photograph 3-D heirloom objects smaller than 16” x 16” x 16”.
