- Washington Territorial Governor: Isaac Stevens ordered Nisqually to a reservation
1856:
1857: Reservation established
1918: All reservation land east of the Nisqually River were made part of Fort Lewis
1983 and 1985: The Pacific Salmon Treaty Acts; clarify tribal fishing rights regarding salmon runs
