Description of CollectionsWe offer a wide range of materials to our patrons for check-out, including DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, magazines, and — you guessed it — books! You may also view past editions of the local newspaper, high school yearbook, and other historical and genealogical materials in our archival collection (by appointment only). ServicesThe mission of the Malvern Public Library is to provide a wide range of quality information services to all patrons so their daily living, working and learning experiences will be enhanced to the fullest. Emphasis is on responding to the community's need for programs to stimulate and nurture a desire to read in people of all ages in a welcoming atmosphere. HistoryThe present-day Carnegie Conference Center was once the original library in Malvern, Iowa, which opened on June 2, 1917.
