LUDLOW (St. Lawrence), a borough, market town, and parish, having separate jurisdiction, and the head of a union, locally in the hundred of Munslow,S. division of Shropshire, 29 miles (S. by E.) from Shrewsbury, and 142 (N. W. by W.) from London. [1]
