Description[edit | edit source]

The county was named for George C. Kimble, who died at the Battle of the Alamo. The county is located in the south-central area of the state.[1]

County Clerk has birth and death records from 1900, marriage, divorce, land and court records from 1884, probate records from early 1900’s and military records from 1915.[2]
