Gloucester County, Vermont Genealogy

In 1770 New York State erected Gloucester County in the far northeast from part of Albany County. Gloucester County was on land that would eventually become the State of Vermont. In 1777 Vermont merged Gloucester County land ceded from New York into Cumberland County, Vermont.
