County Information

Description

Geneva County was created on 26 December 1868 and was named after Geneva, New York, which was named after Geneva, Switzerland.[2] Its county seat is Geneva.[3] It is located in the southeastern area of the state.

Probate Judge has marriage records from 1898 and military discharge records from 1890
Clerk Circuit Court has court records from 1923 and divorce records.[4]
