Creating Record Finder tables

Purpose[edit | edit source]

Create record finder tables for all countries that currently do not have one.

Instructions[edit | edit source]

1. Go to Task List.
2. Click on the country you marked with "no" (not having Record Finder table on the page).
3. Locate the country's Genealogy page.
4. Click on the Record Finder red link on the right under Beginning Research.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

5. Copy the following breadcrumb at the top of the page:

6. Replace COUNTRY with the name of the country you are working on, 4 instances.

7. Next, copy the record finder table on the page:

Step 3[edit | edit source]

8. Now, add the following categories on the page:

[[Category:COUNTRY Research Strategies]] [[Category:Record Finder]]

9. Replace COUNTRY with the name of the country you are working on.

10. Click Save.
11. Mark completed on the Task List.
