These new collections need to be added to Virgina Locality Pages.

Task List
- NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.
Beginning Instructions
There are new collections that need to be added separately to locality pages in Virginia, USA.
1. You will need to sign up for a locality under a collection title tab on the Task List.
2. Go to the instructions for the specific collection below.
Virginia, U.S., Death Registers, 1853-1911 - COUNTY PAGES
Step One - Sign Up
Sign your name next to a county on the Virginia, U.S., Death Registers - COUNTY tab of the task list.
- NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.
Step Two - Click the Link
Using the links on the task list, click the county you want to work on.
Step Three - Click Vital Records in the Contents
In the contents, select Vital Records. This should jump you down to the Subheading Vital Records. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.
Step Four - Click Edit Source next to Death Records
- Click Edit Source next to Death Records.
- Copy the following code and paste it in chronological order by date.
Exceptions:
- If the link is already on the page, replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.
- If there are no other entries with dates, put this as the first bullet.
- If there is a note about there being no online records available, please replace that note with this link.

- Some independent city pages may not have a Vital Records subheading yet.
- Click "Edit Source" next to the heading "Resources"
- Copy and paste the following to add the subheader and link to the page in alphabetical order by subheader
- If there are the subheadings "Newspapers" and "Occupations" already on the page, this one would go underneath those
- Adjust the header as needed to match the others on the page (if the others have "===" or "====" match what is there.)
- Do not add this subheading if it is already on the page
